Who is running what?

How long are they lasting between charges?

How long is battery lasting before getting trashed?

Don't respond if you are not running total loss. I have noticed that most manufacturers say not to use them because of the constant draw and that these batteries are for starting power and not deep cycle application. Who has experience to the contrary?

Earthx is the only battery that has lasted for us up here. We've run them on 1200's, 1100's and 900's all with total loss and race gas. The earthx battery's are a little bigger because they have a battery maintenance system built into them to balance the cells during charging

We've killed all the other brands up here, Anitgravity, Ballistic gen1 and gen2, Shoria ect... We used to be antigravity dealers before we dropped them, know we only carry earthx

I killed a 12 cell anti gravity. Now running a 16 cell with TL. I can ride a whole day, maybe day and a half, but I will still charge it once or twice throughout a day event just to make sure it doesn't get too low. I did accidentally leave my TL on once, and it completely drained the battery, but I was able to coax it back to life and am still using it. Last ride was probably upper 50s, water just under 40, and it started feeling weak while starting after an hour or so, but that was the coldest I've tried to use it.

Talk to Anti Gravity yesterday and they actually told me to not use their battery in my build. They said they are working on a new version but for now it doesn't seem like lithium technology is where it needs to be for us.

Ballistic Evo 12.
i charge after every day of riding, but it last for about 2-3 days with avarage starts over the day.
U can use the Ballistic if u seal the connections, or better put it in a waterproof case.
U will have no Problem then!

I like what I read on their website. Seems like between the internal management system and the warranty this is the battery to get for now. Expensive and I didn't read the fine print on the warranty but looks good.

I also talked to earthx January 2013 and they assured me as well they would cover it but it would not be an issue .
Here is their disclaimer
We are based in Colorado and we are the industry leader for technology in the lithium battery market with the only battery that has over discharge protection- even if the customer leaves their lights on, keys on, or lets the battery sit for months on end they will not kill our battery…and all of our competitors void the warranty if the customer does this.

Over charge protection- in the event of a mal-function in the charging system or charger, we have built in safety feature to disconnect so they do not over heat or worse, catch on fire….again, our competitors void the warranty if the customer does this.

Cell balancing built in so your customers do not have to buy an expensive lithium battery charger and that also means the battery is 100% of the time in balance, not just when it is on their charger.

We have the lowest warranty ratein the industry, and highest customer satisfaction based on having a complete, safe and reliable battery. We also have thebest warranty as it is a full 2 year warranty, no prorating, and the only thing not covered is intentional abuse. Some of our competitors have a 3 page long warranty exclusion rate…..
