For any of you battery experts out there, I know people try to seal up their lithium batteries from the outside but I have been thinking about an alternative to that and was hopping I could get some input. Why not drill a small hole in the external case and either completely fill the inside with potting compound or at the very least strategically fill just the top and bottom of the case so that all of the connections are incased? My biggest concern is what would happen if any of the cells ever ended up failing and venting, would it them become a pipe bomb....
