I'm needing to replace my two AntiGravity batteries. I was one of the lucky ones and never had an issue with either one. Other than they are dead now after 2.5 seasons.

I was going to pick up the WPS Featherweight, but the physical size is going to give me issues. The height and width are fine, but the length isn't going to work where I like the battery location. It could, but I'll have to move inserts for tie downs etc..

What other options are out there that offer a descent warranty like WPS Featherweight? Preferably a 12, or 16 cell.

Edit: I went back and looked at the AntiGravity batteries and they don't come with discharge and overcharge protection like these do. They both don't offer us a warranty, but at least the Earthx offers internal cell conditioning, over discharge and over charge protection. Price is good too. Hmmmm. Anybody have any experience with them yet?

We had lots of problems with EarthX batteries, they had great support, but after sending me 3 new batteries in one season they refunded my money and said they are completely getting away from jetskis. I've had good luck with the Battery Tender lithiums so far and @RyanO , who rides in the freestyle show at Seaworld in Australia said they've been using them for 6 months with great results. Give Zack a call at PHP. He has worked with Ballistic to make a battery that is better suited for our application. (I've had one now for a year, problem free)

I took a look at the Battery Tender line just now. Like the warranty, that's for sure. The 240cca is about the only one that will fit though. I have heard of others running 240cca batteries in their skis and have done ok with them. I'll definitely get 2, no matter what battery I decide to go with.

Those Ballistics scare me lol... I do remember hearing some talk a year ago about Zack possibly getting somewhere with them on those. Anybody know if it happened? I don't mind calling at all, but I know he's a super busy guy.

I have one. I've had it for a year now on a TL system and haven't had any issues. I've also sourced out an inexpensive battery holder for it if your interested. http://murengineering.com/product/16-cell-tray/

On a side note, I'm glad to hear people have had good success with the Battery Tender brand. They seem to be priced well.

WPS have several sizes in the 240-290 CCA range, but like you mentioned I couldn't find exactly a good fit in my new freak, so I went with a Deltran 240 CCA and will be running TL. Was the perfect physical size.

I wrote in another post that my WPS 360 CCA finished 2 full seasons without any issues on a charging system. If you can fit it, I'd recommend one.

cold fusion battery tray... the cold fusion clamp/bracket works fine, we had to run the straps in a pinch because the bolts were too long and haven't changed them since.

Photos aren't uploading... just getting stuck at 100% with a .jpg less than 200kb
