Trying to decide exactly how far fwd and back to set the holds, seems if you get too far back your screwed, but if a little fwd you could add more pad. Im also thinking to let the rears set in as they naturally want to, gives the wide tray. I will also be cutting more out where they hit the ankles after they are foamed in. I was using my feet in tennis shoes for mockup, and this seemed about right, size 10.5 . I noticed when riding I seemed to like my heels to be right near where the kick in the tray starts up.

Workin too much
I totally depends on preferance, mine were fine with a stk length pole and steering, IDK how they'd be with my neg 4 pole on the REV, When I set them up I just put them were they were comfortable for me while trailer surfing.
PS where in the Seattle area do you live?

mine will be set up @ 21" from the back of the hull as well
they are also set up flush with the side of the hull
i have some pics but im a computer tard and cant figure how to load them to the comp yet

A few miles north of Everett in Marysville, about 30 miles north of downtown Seattle.

I'm like another 1-1.5" back further then WDKfan and love the placement..... I removed most of the heal area to give lots of room in the tray and the footholds are easier and more comfortable to get into.

Think I agree after some more mockup with my foot/turf/booties, thinking about 19.5 inches right now.

Mine are about .5" further back than WDKFan's and I am running a -7 pole setup and really like it. I am 6'3"
