This has been one of funnest things I have ever had the privilege of owning and building. Build thread here: https://www.x-h2o.com/threads/keepin-it-square-done-for-now.144423/ .
I am selling the entire package. Hitch rack, life vests, garage stand, beach stand, all spare parts and complete ripping ski. I will start from scratch if I ever decide to build another.
Spares include : OEM ignition module, OEM coil, new starter relay, new ADA Racing 35cc 760 domes, New Weisco 760 forged pistons, new cylinder base gasket and whatever else I can find for it.
And now for the ski. This thing has been bulletproof, from long lake cruises to chasing wakesurfers. There is power on tap whenever you need it. It is built and tuned for elevation, so at sea level it would need adjustments, and would probably be a little high on compression, it has always been at 185psi at 6,000ft with 33cc domes. It has always run 100ll Avgas with Castor 927 oil. Ski always stored indoors and has never even smelled salt. I was going to install the new pistons to sell it but when I pulled the head and saw the clean crosshatching, I replaced head and dome o-rings and put it back together.
Powerplant: 62T/62T. PHP port and bore, PHP layback billet intake manifold with QR plate, carbon VForce 3 reeds, twin Novi-Tec 46mm carbs, Blowsion flame arrestors, ADA Racing girdled head, Pro-X pistons, Cold Fusion flywheel cover, Factory B-Pipe, TDR waterbox and new Rad Dudes silicone exhaust tube.
Pump: WSM midshaft bearing, Cold Fusion midshaft, Cold Fusion lightweight Kawi style coupler, Hooker 9/15 impeller, Blowsion aluminum pump shoe, aluminum Waverunner nozzle bored to 85mm, Worx grate, ATP aluminum high angle steering nozzle and carbon rideplate of unknown origin.
Controls: ATP RN billet handlepole bracket, ATP stainless handlepole bolt, Blowsion HD spring, AC Racing RN handlepole shortened 2in with 4 ply carbon fiber vacuum bagged overlay, FRI extension limiter, made by me carbon fiber chinpad, ATP billet sealed bearing steering system, RRP riser handlebars, ATP billet throttle lever and Blowsion HD steering cable.
Electrical: ATP billet e-box, ATP Epic HX3 programmable dual mode ignition with software/cables, two mode switch on dash, Jet Maniac ignition coil with MSD plug wires, Rad Dudes battery/starter cables and switched Rule bilge pump.
Hull: This where it gets fun. Sponsons not sure of the brand, they were already on the ski when I got it. Shortened rear 3in with full length rideplate , added drain plugs. All carbon fiber tray with molded in footholds , cut 3in off the back of the sides, EBS foam to deck, poly sides, turf runs all the way to outer edge of the sides. Hood has been lowered, cut off top ribs and pie cut out of middle to give it an extra ridge, Cold Fusion hood hooks and prongs, FRI hood strap and handlepole pad. Redesigned air intake to pull from rear of hood, plus handlepole has breathers. Bondline has been reinforced front to rear. All carbon fiber exhaust tube w/rear exit (there is nothing that sounds like it). Nose cap removed and re-fabbed an all carbon fiber new one of my design to work with RN handlepole, over 1/4in thick carbon fiber handlepole tray area (not one crack has ever appeared), retained the nose fuel fill with a nice TBM billet cap. Engine compartment got carbon fiber bilge and bulkhead overlays, sides-hood airbox-nose got carbon/kevlar overlays.
Only carbon fiber used (no fiberglass), all structural composite work was vacuum bagged, only engine compartment has hand layup. Check out the build, it really was a learning experience and it produced an awesome, reliable all around ski.
Asking $9500, and I'm not in a hurry. This package will get someone off to a great intro into stand-ups or make an awesome addition to an existing quiver.
