dont you all love it how when it gets cold we all get harrassed for "doing tricks" the ranger drove all the way to the back of the lake yesterday to try to bust us and when we were on shore at the dock he comes up saying they have zero tolerance for our tricks anymore. "they are in crack down mode!" hahah:biggthumpup: they all know me by name and they know we know how to control the skis bettter than anyone that has every been to that lake but they still harrass us. :cheer:

if you interperate the california law you can think that. is is against wreckless driving, but i have never been wreckless about it...... i am in complete control. the best thing is.... there were fishermen and us, each of us had our own little cove and everyone was happy....

I've got a cop who likes to collect easy tickets. he parks his donut wagon way down the beach and writes tickets for going more than idle out of the swim zone. I tried telling him that my ski is uncontrolable at idle. I told him that my ski is much smaller and more narrow than the others and requres a little more speed to get out. he let me go the last time but when I rode out I saw him come racing down the beach to ticket me (I think). I just rode out of the inlet and didn't come back for a long time and he had moved on by then.

same fat duche everyweekend. he must make his quota early every month.

BTW no one swims here. it's the jetski launch area. maybe we should look into making it a non-swim area like daytona.

Interesting that it takes place in the winter. We only really get hassled in the summer.

seriously! we should all ride surf in the winter and flat in the summer! haha

it just shows how much BS it is! we dont go there when it is crowded, we only ride when not much is going on there to try to help the rangers. most of the boats like us, we help them get their boats on the trailor and everything cause they dont like to get wet and we are all suited up.... BS i tell ya!

I had the local marine PD called to me countless times for "being crazy" "doing tricks" "driving wrecklessly" "Not watching where im going"(riding backwards)

He shows up, tells me to just make sure that I'm no where near swimmers, and keep practicing because theres a diff between idiots and freestylers. Gotta love my local PD.

It's great....the jackass caller will watch like he got me busted......then i just hit a big stab off the back of the PD's wake and go back to riding. 90% of the people will ask me to do certain tricks over again, or clap, or have me fountain their kids(from a dead stop ofcourse)

find a buddy with a wakeboat....then flatwater becomes more fun! especially when the ocean is all blown out choppy and sucky

That happens so rarely...that when it does, it's ok to just stay home. Or now.....we go ride dirtbike instead!!! :cheer: :cheer:

Remember, we actually get up to early to catch the good surf. It's only real choppy when it's raining and we get storm surf. And not sure if you heard, but we dont' get much rain round these parts.

lol, authorities. brings back good memories when our crew was skiing in abersoch(uk) and ant was pullin barrel rolls right next to all of the old farts sitting on their boats 20 feet away
the wardens were there in 5 minutes with multiple complaints of noise.
ahhhhhhh gooood times....lol
