i just spoke to the hotel and there are 12 rooms available in our block, you must mention wavedaze to get a room in the block, otherwise yes the hotel is sold out.

I ended up JUST NOW booking my room. Ocean View queen bed. The woman on the phone said there is NO rooms for 89 dollars this year. She said EVERYone is getting charged 99 no matter what room. Is this true? I called to see if I could get the 10 dollars knocked off each night and she proceeded to tell me how normal rates are 139 that time of year and 99 is a great group rate.... can anyone verify?

They told me the same thing as Xeon, that the group rate is $99.

Unfortunately I am not going to be able to make it down to wavedaze now. So there will be an open ocean front room this afternoon once I call in.

If you're a slacker like me and haven't yet booked a room, no sweat... Just went to www.cheaptickets.com and got Thursday - Sunday for $364.28

Thurs $80, Fri $120, Sat $120 plus $44.28 Taxes and fees.

I realize it's not $99 a night, but there still are rooms available.

As of yesterday the Barclays was sold out too, but keep checking when Quality Inn fills up as people always back out last minute. It's literally next door on the North side of Quality. (9th street)
