That ski turned out GREAT ,You really have some Fantastic fabrication skills !! Im sure it will be no problem for you to fix it back to new again .. And Its good that nobody got hurt !!!! have fun !

what you need to know CHAD ?

you put the tape everywhere you need turf, afterthat you take it off, and glue it on paper or something else , and just use it , and cut the new turf around this one .

thanks Blaster 800, LOL hull has just cosmetic issues, tomorow I'm filling it and paint it , and hope to go at registration office to get registration plate ;-)))

Thanks. I was curious about what your process was. I have made rough templates with paper in the past and then transfer and cut the turf larger than the template and trim as necessary I figured it would be a pain to get the tape off for a transfer

no, it's not be a pain to take off the tape, because, you put 3 or 4 layer of tape that you cross at each layer , after that you can take it off easyer , just need to catch the first layer , and glue it on daily news paper .
the first time I had do that , it's , with Wamilton himself ;-))

may be for few hulls , but , not for tomorow hahahaha

just need to make the first one in polyester , afterthat , I ll want to try with epoxy, carbon on infusion process

Thanks for posting up, you have given me numerous ideas for my project, How do you mold in the inside of the lower deck? do you just make a blank based on the bottom outside or what? I am curious specifically about the thru hull for the drive shaft and the motor mounts and getting that in line with the pump and shoe.

actualy, it's just the prototype ,the lower inside is just a mix with the 300sx hull, and SJ rear .
I had just made a aluminium blank to screw the motor mount in line with the driveshaft and pump.
for the next true hull, i'm still thinking about it ;-))

Yes , prototype is finished , now we re thinking about making the first one hull, try to make enough place in my garage...
And try to buying all i 'll need to build it , resin, fabric, gelcoat....very difficult on my small island ...
So as i have my Achille'stendon broken, i have time to do that, and hope to build the first one before christmas
