Any opinions on the shred ready full face?

Not bad, might pick one up and try it out as a flat water helmet.

Any opinions on the shred ready full face?

I bought a shred ready full face last year and like it. My giro has become my cold water and surf helmet and my shred ready is my summer boat chasing helmet.

I have a giro. Like it a lot, except for the rusted chin strap mounts.

One thing I will say is that the visor stop bolt hole on the top of the helmet is perfect to bolt a gopro to with stainless hardware, not sure which other helmets have the same set up.

I've never tried any other helmets, But I picked a Fly Default up from Optima and love it. Fits great and doesn't hold water.

Lots of great info in the thread. I am looking for a new lid as well. I have a oneal downhill Mtb helmet, it's not very heavy but it's bulky and holds water (plus I hate how much it reduces sound).

My giro cf showed up today. Really nice helmet. Can barely tell its on and is really comfortable. I bought a large and measured my head at 23.5 fits really great.
