300/440/550 Looking for cheap ways to get best power/performance outa my 550

i have a js 440 that i am doing a piston port 550 swap with...
so far stock 550 top end
west coast manifold-west coast pipe-coffman waterbox
34mm sbn carb
16 pitch stainless prop
west coast ride plate

what would be some more good parts?
milled head...high compression head
any other ideas?

-Boar the pump exit nozzle
-call art at Jet works for the best Carb specs to squeeze everything you can get out of it.
-advance timing maybe? i did made a bit of a difference yet i have an heavy port job. Run octane boost or race fuel mix after though...
-Flywheel lots of molla though...
-701 if all else fails it wont be a freestyle machine or bottom end stud... I tried, I tried hard but then i just got it to go really really freakin fast for a 550.

oh and call Gordon about a PJS 550 top loader intake grate he has new ones still in stock.

I have a westcoast ported stage 3 cylinder, that I sent to them in 1988 or so for the big power upgrade, I think its only on the first overbore. My brother Gasgas has it now and wants to sell it, can you say 50+ mph!!

Yep! awesome port job, this will help. I also have a high comp head and an ocean pro 45deg intake manifold let me know if your interested in any of these?
