Looking for guidance on what I need in an A/M ski

I would recommend a Kdx. It can do it all with great ease. That's my personal opinion. I'm hoping to come to Maui this Year. If you buy one. Let's meet up.

Yeah, funny enough I know you're selling one (and you like it). I was just in Wyoming working and had asked in your thread where exactly you were in Canada. But then a week later I was on my way to Hawaii so my plans were put on hold

Gotcha. No rush, everything loan-wise Is a long distance hassle for me . Unless I can pay you in coconuts and sunshine.

The good news is that there are quite a few skis for sale right now that check off what you want.

The bad news is that you haven't been on any of them.
I've owned and driven A LOT of cars in my life, and I wouldn't buy a car for 20k without driving it first and skis have even more variation between brands/motors/pump setups/layups etc etc.

How "painful" would it be for you to fly out to the Daytona Freeride?
There will be a lot of skis available to try out and I imagine there will be many that are for sale.

Pretty awesome coincidence that I just got an invitation to a work district meeting in Denver for Jan 15/16. So after, I will fly out to Daytona for 2 days to see the event then back to Hawaii. Your suggestion was pretty great.

Come to Daytona and ride some skis. Never buy before you ride.
