looking for helpful tips

ok so im new to the site and fairly new to the sport.i have a 2008 sxr and im looking to do some mods. but i dont have a lot of money so i have to spend very wisely. the only things i have installed are a solas impeller 13/22 and a R&D exhaust power sleeve.

im looking to increase my toque, i want to be able to pop out of the water quicker and faster. so what are some easy and inexpensive products i can get to help me obtain this??

I would install foot holds and a bilage befor you do anything, then just save for a pipe, then quick steer system

ok i just looked what exactly am im look at there is a lot to look at

ride what ya got bud. If you decide you like an sj, then get that, if you like the sxr, ride that, doesn't matter

As far as the site, you should look at the quick steer plates. I just put one on my 550. It has a longer arm on the side of the plate where the steering cable attaches and a shorter turning radius at the handle bars. makes the nozzle at the pump turn with quicker response.

I would just save for the Wet Pipe and footholds. Wait til you get these two things in before you waste any money. I have a pretty tuned up SXR which i built from scratch and i got no problem with the weight in good surf, i can even have a damn good time in the bay with all the big cruisers putting out monster wakes. With the SXR you really need to match up the power to the weight and you will be happy. If you do wann spend a little cash, get yourself a duckbill so you can start subbing and screwing around.

Any ski shop, like blowsion, wamiltons, JSU, R&D may have them. It works like a scupper but it's a rubber flap that lets water out and not in. You won't have to worry about sinking the thing from subbing to much.

LMAO But it is true, My friends ride Kawi. and its so much nicer ridding a superjet just beacuse of the weight...swapping your Kawi for a SuperJet would totally be they way to go but im sure you have heard that before

but remember matt i'm 3/4 way around barrel rolls my "POS" sxr!!! and I'm pretty sure ur ski has yet to run this year stick with the sxr i love that i never have to worry about cracking hulls or getting water in the foam i'll take that any day, attached a pic looks like they fly pretty good to me, and that's an 18 ft ski boat wake
