My mistake, he is in the US. I would say he might move on price, then get shipping quote. probably only be in it at 9-10 i would assume? This is enough for any beginner (im still on 701, just waiting for a checkbook like yours lol). It will also give you a hull you can do tricks on. Possibly not the best generation hull from BOB but you can always upgrade to something carbon fiber when and if you get bored... just my two pennys

K so what would be the difference between the hulls on the 2 skis in this post the gen2 bob and the rok-r? And another question is I am quite hard on toys ( but I still maintain them regularly lol) We get some good wave for are area 3-4 footers will they stand up to the beating?

Both skis are purpose built for flat water freestyle, the quality and ride of the rok-r is light years ahead of the gen2. The gen2 utilizes a bulge in the bottom of the hull to get its pop rather then rocker like other hulls, causing questionable handling characteristic's.

Gen2 hulls and older Gen 3's were full of structural problems and the guy building the hulls has since been fired. Waterdawg hulls are pretty bulletproof, just never buy new from them... Just search waterdawg kustomz on this site lol.

Wow lol this form is as fun to read as some of the stuff on dootalk lol

Don't bother with a superjet, they are fun but if you want to start flipping and getting into freestyle and have a good budget go used aftermarket. If you buy a superjet you will be looking to upgrade soon and end up spending more in the long run. I would consider the offer of a good deal on the rokr up in Canada already that Truerider411 has. Good luck and welcome to the addiction.

Probably right, but does this guy have any tray time at all? If he doesn't, I'm not so sure a rokr is the best starting ski. Just because he has a potential high budget for the ski doesn't necessarily mean he should spend every penny just to get his foot in the door.

If your seriously considering spending $16,000k on a ski, I would go to Daytona Freeride and at least try some skis. However, that being said, like everyone else who hops on a stand up, it takes a lot of time just to be able to ride comfortably. I think you are rushing into this and need to waste a season on a SJ, or SXR just to figure out what you like. Then go to an event and demo the hell out of the A/M hulls.

It really isn't much different learning how to ride an am ski or a superjet for the first time. If you get a good deal on a rtr AM ski then you can sell it for the same and come out even. It's a lot of money up front but if you have it to spend with a goal in mind, why delay the inevitable and waste time?
