Nope. Never had any probems with water cops. I've been ridin these areas for many years. You may see a rare/occational cop, never stopped us. I stopped a sheriff once and asked him what the rule is for wake jumping, he said, stay 150 feet away from the boat. I guess one can pull over for some sort of reckless behavior but throwing a nice nose stab off a yacht is a bit different than some couch with 2 chicks on it tearin things up. I think they know who is the dumb ass and who is a responsible frreestyler workin on tricks. IMO. Hope to see ya out there.

I was out today on a little lake by Waterford and someone called the cops on me.

What lake were you on? You had to have been doing somthing really annoying to get the cops out on the water here. They don't actively patrol this area anymore. What did they warn/cite you for?

I am in South Lyon. I usually go to different inland lakes around here and watch the Surf report for grand haven constantly. I can roll in the surf but never made one in flat water yet.

If we ever get surf, someone hit me up. Ill be down!

Lake St. Clair! We have a good group that goes out most/every weekends and ride the North and Middle channels area.

Look me up in the spring. I can keep you posted where and when.

I know cass lake is a nice lake to ride on out by waterford. I ride st clair all time witch is only 20mins away from st clair

WHAT!??! Pffft! Cass lake is not very nice. ( unless you ride a couch and do nothing but hold it wide open, then do a series of no look u-turns and 360's. If that's the case, you'll fit right in with most of the deuche bags out there.) It's so busy with boats and couches going every which way on the weekends. During the week it's gotten pretty quiet, though. Bad part is that there's very few spots to stop and hang out, besides a small island that's privately owned by some beach nazi type. It's a big lake, but that's about all it has going for it.
