I like how you did the heel holds in the footholds, what's the method for doing those?

I took it to P&P performance in Richmond. They actualy did a little carbon work reshaping the holds, and then made wedges and enclosed it with turf, similar to the DXV holds

Sucks living in Albuquerque, there is no one to "take it to"....LOL. Definitely looks well done, and much better. I had trouble with my feet slipping out of the footholds all summer and killed my shins. I need something like that. Would like to add a little padding to the top of the foothold because the top of my feet get bruised after a couple days of riding.

Update from HPE, motor is coming along well, maybe have it early next month. Getting excited. Have some things to get together before then.

I think I am past that point now. Trying to get all the turf, padding, and glue off now. I think I have no choice but to sand now. I have removed just about everything I could with chisels and such. Real PITA. Lol

The silver one posted at the top of this page and the previous page. I finally finished my SJ and like riding it better than the BOB. It's close to the same weight

Also as long as your putting padding down don't worry about getting all the remnants off. The padding will stick to the old glue

Oh yeah I like your BOB, specially the footholds and turf job. I would love to emulate it on my ski. I wonder how hard it would be to enclose my footholds?

I have the same footholds as you do. I think they shortened them up a bit. BT the enclosure and wedge are all turf and padding.

I didn't realize your ski was silver, thought it was white. Now I really like your ski because I like everything silver. Lol

You might try goo gone or gasoline to get the rest off. Also before you glue down the new stuff go over the tray with acetone. You can buy it by the gallon at home depot for less than 20$

Brake clean will take the rest off. Just spray carefully.

So they just used padding and turf to make the foot "tunnel"? Is it tough enough that you don't worry about tearing it?
