Yes. I was out of work for 3 weeks in april having trouble standing and walking. Its been a struggle up until the injection. Things are looking on the up right now. Jet ski caused it, so afraid of whats going to happen when i ride again.

I had back problems 10 years ago... first shot did not work, the second did the trick.
I started jetskiing after that. I feel riding helped keep my back healthy...

if my ski makes it down your welcome to ride it. -2.5 superfreak glass hull, tpe 964. very fun ski to ride and predictable power.

Thank your for the offer. Id really like to try the hull but i have no business ridkng a motor like that. I can neither handle it nor afford one of my own.

I think right now the only thing i have lined up is @djkorn1 evo...

Id really like tl try a -2 or stock freak with a 701 motor
and a gen 2 x2

Dont want to seem picky. I just dont want to waste your guys time. The short flatwater skis arent good for me right now because of my back, and i dont want to try out thigns i couldnt afford to purchase. I feel that wojld be abusing the privilege. Hopefully in the future my situation will change and such things could be more realistic for me.

@Little_Franny wont have the envy, but will have a predator he says i should try

I was excited to try the yamaha envy vs the kawi evo. Ive never been able to get my kawi to run the way i like. Excited to try djs kawi setup.

I have my very nice limited superjet, and a limited kawi 750 big pin in my x2, both of which could end up in sokething else.

Thanks, but im only going to try things i can afford.
ya don't know the price yet LOL. If a Superfreak is on your radar, glass or otherwise you can afford one of these. Wider tray, should be a nice riding hull (we don't know anything but what it SHOULD ride like) we have 2 completely reasonable setups coming down. an 800 b piped setup and a 900 PFP setup so nothing CRAZY power wise.
It would be crazy not to try one.

Im down. Id be looking for used skis, but used freaks are still expensive.

Have you talked to the rad dudes? Maybe they know someone bringing a gen 2, or one of the fix steer aquabots? I read through this quickly, is the fix steer or pole easier on your back?

Honestly I was prett interested in Abigail, but she wasn't in my price range, or at least since I've never ridden one, and haven't sold my Superjet .

I had a great time this year, which is awesome because I had very low hopes for a good time (i have almost no ride time in the last 8 months, zero in the last 2). I was able to put in about 2 hours on my wife's SXR, which wasn't quite the 8 I got on my SJ last year, but I did manage 3 test rides.

I didn't get the opportunity to try @fusion1977 superfreak or @madscientist 701 powered X2 because I started to get symptomatic and quit while I was ahead. I do however appreciate those offers.

It was cool to try @djkorn1 lightweight -2 SXR with wet pipe. It felt just like my wife's SXR, but turned sharper, and despite having a few less powerplant upgrades, it was actually more responsive. I didn't get to try his surf strap since the more rear position put a lot of load on my back.

@zimmy Viper was an amazing ride. It had the TPE 964 with a PFP and epic. It was the most powerful ski I have ridden. It was an exceptional surf ski. Even with it's huge size it handled the surf very well. It was big enough to be extremely stable and jump very well, but at the same time ride very nose high down the face of a wave.

@Little_Franny Predator put a smile on my face from ear to ear that is permanently stuck there. The ski was set up perfect for the kind of riding I like to do. I would love to have one of my own. I had not considered a ski that much shorter than my superjet, but it's width made it very stable. Combined that with a tight pole bolt and front toe hold, and my back was feeling pretty great when I got off of it.

3 very different set ups that were all very enjoyable. If money were no object, I would be seriously looking into a Krash, Rickter, or something similar. However, it is an issue and I can not afford a setup like that. I think I might look into a B1 setup, since I can probably find a complete ski I can put my new motor in for under $1000. I have the composite skills to work over my superjet, so maybe rather than selling it, I'll modify it into a surf boat. I'm undecided but have a better idea of what I really want now.

Thanks again for all the support everyone. I had a great time.
