Looking for the trailer nose pin for a stand up ski?

I lost one of the pins that holds the ski secured to the front bumper on the trailer. I believe the pin is galvanized with a chain and retaining pin. Local ski places are closed for the winter so I can’t go locally to get one or call to find out what they are called. Where might I be able to get one?

I just use a hitch pin with a little handle on it, came from Northern tool.

Go to your local lumber yard or tractor supply co. They have a straight pin with a handle that has a clip on the bottom to keep it from jumping out. I had to buy one for a couch once and it worked great. Be sure to get it long enough. They are made for tractors I believe.

I made my own out of 1/2 inch 314 stainless steel. But you can get a replacement anywhere

i will try lowes or a local tractor place. Then again i might just build one out of 303 stainless

$3-$5 for a hitch pin at any hardware store. Much easier than building one yourself out of stainless.
