Freestyle Looking to buy my first AM hull

Location
SoCal
Not sure if this is the right spot, but here goes...

Why are there always so many BoB hulls for sale? Is there just that many out there?
Are they an "in between" hull.. Like a stop-gap between going from a SJ to a pricier AM hull, and people just move on?
Or are there certain properties that cause people to burn out on them quickly?
Quality issues etc..?

I haven't had a chance to ride one yet, but would like to.

Bob hulls were a cheap way to get into the AM hull scene. You will either love or hate a bob hull. Not really to many people in the middle. Some bob hulls had some fit and finish issues, also a few were laid up on the heavy side. People usually purchase them and then upgrade to a higher end hull. Please do NOT confuse BOB hulls with the NEW hurricane. Totally different hull with none of the issues mentioned above!!!!
