A Superjet is like Pot. It's a gateway ski. Why invest into a supply of cocaine only to find out you'd much rather have meth or heroine. Get a Superjet and go party.

I’m new to stand ups and never rode one. I said screw it and went and bought a 2018 Superjet. People wanted $6500 for an almost stock 15 year old ski that “just needs carbs cleaned”. I paid $8500 and was worth every penny. Starts right up every time and has plenty of power for now for a noob like me.

I learned backflips on a stock squarenose hull with a single carb. Learn on a superjet first, ride it hard for a year. You’ll break it and then eventually swap all of it over to a AM Hull. A dialed in 701 is plenty of power to flip.

I’m talking about surf flips. But I can boat wake flip my 701 pretty easy. I have seen 701’s flatwater flip though. My motor in a lighter hull I know I could do it.
