Looking to purchase a fixed steer

I’ve been considering selling my eme q8 pole ski and jumping on a fixed steer. Been looking at air Blair dfx or auqabot. I’ve done reading and both seem to ride the same. Looking for suggestion and recommendation . Also is there other skis I should be considering

@air blair has some great skis and is great to deal with, do not hesitate! Personally took a huge gamble and purchased one of his hulls without ever riding one and could not be happier with the purchase! So happy that another will be added in the near future!

i got to ride air blairs personal fix steer ski at carolina beach. i was super impressed with it

Air Blair DFX for me. All around and especially in bigger surf they just rock. And the ability to swap a pole onto my fixed steer is just really cool. Next year you may see another twist to these skis. Jeff is always reaching for new things.

I went with his "AIR" model, fixed steer only, different bottom deck from the Dart "DFX" bottom.

I’m looking forward to building another dfx right now. After that will be an air model for my tour skis. Anybody thinking about a custom hull build this fall get ahold of me and we can work it in. Thanks for the support y’all.

Darn log splitter dropped it’s engine. Troy built is junk fyi. I’ve replaced everything on it.

FWIW, I rode @air blair skis for the first time this past weekend and within 60 seconds knew that I wanted one. Rode back to shore and said if you're still making them, I want one, and he said "no, you need to go ride it more... you haven't even fallen off yet". So I did.

They do not ride anywhere near the same.
