It would be interesting to see someone else's take on engine mounting, position (angle/upright), and pipe.

As for the exhaust system, they are using the R&D dry pipe chamber that has been modified to fit their custom built exhaust manifold made for their personal race boats, European models ONLY. I talked with some guys at Havasu about this.

good call steve. That IS NOT a gp800 motor.

It is not a GP800 engine, it is 62t. I called a "top secret" friend of mine that told me the scoop. They don't, and have never used the GP800 engine, they call it the "GP" cylinder because it is in the Euro GP class and is 800cc. They extensively modified an R&D, 62t cylinder, and modified the exhaust to gain more power. The easiest way to tell is to look at the crank centerline distance in the pick, definately a "girly" motor, 118mm centers. :27: Would someone hurry up and make parts so I can run a GP800 engine in a Superjet!!! :cheer2::bow28:

I have a french Magazine w/ Ruis's 2006 superjet and it's the same exact hull as the 2008 SJ... so he has been runing that so-called new hull for over 2 years...

Ruis gets it all....

Been thinking that I should cut my blaster hull up into a spade shape like the SXR/08SJ.
