Loose steering

Hello guys, the standard steering on my Fx1 is either too loose or too tight,
Can I buy new steering washers, and if so where do I purchase same, thanks in advance…

You can buy new washers, a whole new steering setup, or adjust the tightness of it. Might be worth just taking it apart, lubing a few things and putting it back together.

I cannot remember, is the stock starting have the slotted nut where you put a cotter pin through it? That may be why he is saying "Too Tight or too loose".
Replace the OEM Bushing.

You can still get the bushings, Cleaning the steering system completely and installing new bushings with grease makes a big difference. Or like KMN said, you can get a new steering system completely. I would cut you a sweet deal on this one I have for sale!

Homemade aluminum handlepole bracket, will fit 1990-1995 Yamaha Superjet (square nose) looks incredibly strong but will need some work to get the hood hooks installed. I was thinking about using countersunk screws from the bottom. Nice vapor honed finish, $50 shipped.
