Lost my shoe today

I was out riding today and my sj's pump blew my shoe off! Luckily its a cheap walmart pair, apparently once the sole comes out they sink, I looked for a while. My wife has always ridden without shoes is she says im stupid for wearing them, once i lost the one I kicked the other off and I couldn't believe the difference! I could feel the ski better. It does rub them on the sides alittle when you press against the tray, but it seemed like I could actually ride better? My wife of couse says" I told you so" " You never listen to me" bla bla bla, hahaha. Anyone the same?

I agree. Just go to ebay. I buy my wrestling shoes there. I know they are used, but alot of time they are like new for my than half price off. Who cares they are lake shoes.

Thats true, especially at the lake where beer bottles are always busted. I may try the wrestling shoes or skuba shoes, but I think I may try bare foot some more. I figured I would slip out and do a face plant on the hand pole, but I never did. Try bare foot, you may like it! Remember, I am from AR!!!!:laugh2:

The main reason I wear shoes is because of what is on the bottom. I'd much rather not, but it's not an option. I got tired of stepping on oysters, and all sort of other sharp underwater hazards.

I got sick of emptying sand out of my wrestling shoes so now I'm rocking the Slippery Comp Boot because I am the shizz.

I used to not ride with shoes, until I cut the mess out of my foot at the ramp. Now I wear a pair all the time. I find that it saves my toes also from jamming into the control knobs.

I seen those in my dennis kirk book. Slippery also has a cheaper version that kinda looks like a scuba shoe called Siphon. $29.95 for low top, $39.95 for the highs. Slippery makes sweet shoes. Im probably gonna get a pair of siphons.

Heres the ones i was looking at. not sure wether i want the high or low top. I guess ankle support would be better withthe high, but the low looks better.

i have both these and the other boots shown, imo the boots were way better until my pump blew one off lol, these always seem to get loose and start sliding off when you are getting back on plane...the boots never did. you might like em though
