Octane Lost spark

2002 Octane, was riding this morning, no problem. Turned it off at the ramp, put it on the trailer, tried to start and no spark. I've changed plugs, battery is good. Resistances seem high on the coil per the service manual, but I don't think that's it.
Testing some of the stator wires from the electrical box, some are 10K ohms to ground that the manual says should be OL. Brown to ground is 750 ohms, yellow to ground 300 ohms, red to ground 12K ohms, green to ground 12K ohms, brown to grey is only 1.2K ohms, red to grey is 950 ohms, and green to grey is 950 ohms. Purple to ground is good at 5.5 ohms, yellow to red/purple is good at .75 ohms.
Doing the crank sensor test, I get about 108 ohms on the green and red wires when rotating the crank to the correct spot, but the manual says I should have about 25 ohms...
I checked the orange wire coming out of the LR while starting, and only .3 volts, so I put the CDI's red/purple to another red purple which had a constant 12V, and still no spark.
Does this sound like a stator issue? I don't know anymore tests I can do...
Thanks,
Alex

sounds like the same issue i had. i ended up sending my CDI to Randy at Watcon. it costs $40 to have him test it and see if its bad or not. but i would start there.

It's got really weak spark, and there's water in the stator housing.... Could the CDI allow a weak spark or have I pretty much narrowed it to the stator? Are these DC-CDIs...?

They are DC-CDIs. Make sure the battery does not drop below about 10 volts while cranking the engine. These ignitions are very sensitive to weak batteries.

I can't get the flywheel off! One of the three bolts for the puller broke and the tip on the new craftsman puller deformed, but the flywheel won't budge. Any good tricks/tips?

Got the flywheel off today. Cleaned the stator and everything else around there. The grounds and shorts were gone, put it together and it runs again... Go figure. I do have a replacement stator coming though. Salt water has not treated this boat so well...
