LSFR (Fall) 2011

So, it's almost Fall and I was wondering if anybody else is thinking what I'm thinking? Fall LSFR? I say yes. Where? I would actually like to go to Surfside again. Its been two years or so. That was a lot of fun. But I just want to get together and ride with you guys again. Could care less where, long as it's a beach in TX. Any one else thinking what I'm thinking?

What about October 15,16? That's far enough out. Several have said that works for them, and it works for me. Also, who has the Calypso info?

keep in mind the house does not sleep the exact number they have it rated for - they consider the couch in the living room as one of the beds.

Also, check vrbo.com (vaca rental by owner). They have a bunch of surfside beach houses for rent. Oct. 14-16 works great for me.

Yea, but split it up and its a bargain for the access it gives us. Forget camping. The houses are right there, they have everything you need. It's ideal for a freeride. If done right, it can be as little as 100 per person for 3 nights. That's not bad.

Yeah once split up its not bad at all.
How many people showed up to the last freeride?

THe last one wasn't our best turnout and we had 25+ skis. We can fill a 8 room condo no problem.

the "Swan Lake" area of Surfside is (IMO) the best for us. It's outside city limits (no regular police patrols, and no parking stickers needed), and the beach is wider there.
