First of all, someone needs to be the designated room finder so we don't end up with two beach houses and 15 guests. Genesis is not bad and it's available on the 14th-16th. We should get that one or something like it while available. I can commit up to $150 for my bed. So we just need 9 more minimum to commit. Who's going to take this on?

LOL, I'm very busy this time. Not sure if I can get it done. Let's see if someone else can take it on. Worst case, I'll do it but, I can't do anything for a week or so. I shouldn't even be on here right now.

I was thinking about this today. I'd be willing to take this on myself. Under my conditions: First of all, with all the work to get this organised, I will be doing this to pay for my bed. So, if I get 10 people to commit with a maximum of $150 each, I will go ahead and get the ball rolling. I will take deposit via PP. Once we have 10 minimum, there will be no refunds unless we resell your bed or can manage to recoup your money somehow. If we get 10+, we should be able to find a house to accommodate us. The more we get, the less we pay. Goal would be to get at least 15 so its 100 each for 2-3 nights lodging. Singles get a bunk, couples get a queen, buddies share a king. Does that sound reasonable? If so, I will start a thread for the house and we'll set the date for Oct 14-16th. The room will be available for Thursday night with 11pm Sunday checkout. Please let me know what y'all think. We need to get started soon.

Just saw your post Skinny, I'll look into it but several have told me this is best for them. WF is a big deal so we need to consider it.

Melmack, forget about getting everyone in the same house. There is a group of guys I ride w/ here in Houston that all want to come (5 or 6) but dont want to commit to a group house. We will probably end up renting a place of our own or camp on the beach like we did at the Port A LSFR. Lets lock down the date, personally I like the 14-16, but I am not going to WF either.

I think it's going to have to be the 14-16th. Just wanted to make sure we accommodate all the guys that might be going to WF. There are a few. Don't want to make this a no go for them on that account. As far as the room goes, we did it before and it worked out great. Surfside is an out of the way spot and having a beach house was very important for that ride. I'm still going to try to get that going, once we have the date nailed down. Keep in mind, the beach houses are right on the beach at surfside. It's completely diferent than Port A.

I think that's the idea. Just need to get some feedback. Right now the interest seems spotty at best. Chime in guys. I have two or three I know that are good for the 14-16th but we need to hear from you guys.

Good. Sry to make you drive so much Skinny. Glad you can do it. You to P. Wouldn't be LSFR without you guys! I'm wondering about Travis though. Hopefully, since it's close to home, he can make it. Assuming he's going to WF.
