Lumpy's carbon hull repair/build thread

I'll admit my fault on not inspecting closer, the problem is that it was advertised as this: Screenshot_2016-08-21-16-07-08.png

I negotiated on a hull that was supposedly mint when it was in fact cracked. So yeah i didnt look it over very well, that doesnt change the fact that it was grossly misrepresented in the for sale ad. Fact is, i was sold a hull that wasnt what it was advertised as.

It sounds to me like there is no one to blame but yourself. You drove 10 hours to pick up a hull but didn't take 10 minutes to look it over before you bought it? Now you're crying because you found a small crack and want to blame the seller. poop happens and carbon cracks. Fix it and move on. It's not like he shipped it to you and it arrived damaged you went and picked it up and saw it first hand before you made the deal

It had already been paid for before i picked it up but seller was hard to work with on shipping so i just went and picked it up myself. Text me at 5635991253 if you wish to discuss further.

Again you are acting like he shipped it to you and it arrived damaged you personally picked this hull up. If it was Miss advertised thats something that should have been addressed before you bought it and drove home not after-the-fact. You bought a used carbon freestyle hull from someone who is learning. That equals a lot of crashes. I think my dvx is in great condition other then a spot on the hood. If I sold it to you and you came and picked it up drove home with it and found something else wrong with it I would tell you tough poop. I disclose what I know but once you buy something it's yours in my responsibilities as a seller are over at that point

lol Luke you should take your own advise. Have you already forgotten that quickly

Both lumpy and smitty can read. My ad also had in all caps "manifold not included". We also had a text conversation before you bought it. I also split some money with you. I also took a loss of a friend on Facebook ☹️. I don't know what else to say.

Back to where i was before this got turned into a poop show by certain members, i got all the bad ground out on the inside until i could make out the different layers of existing carbon. Appears as if the builders laid strips of carbon in an x pattern between the motor mount locations.
