Blaster Mach One Cracks and screw settings.

Where does the Mach one tend to crack? Mine cracked in between the water screws on the seam. I had it welded back yesterday. I guess this was a manufacturing flaw?

Also what are the screws supposed to be at? I was running 1/2 and 1/2 but I could see my coupler had started to melt... So I have it at 1 and 1 now.

glad you got it rewelded. i dont no much about the mach 1 pipe, but if your coupler is starting to melt then i would open up the water screws.

We supply all Mach-1 pipes with the lower adjuster closed and the upper adjuster open 1 turn. As you open the adjusters you will get better low rpm performance and sacrifice high rpm peak horsepower.

I'm not sure but I would think so. I run a Maniac Engine in a SN w/a B-pipe and the middle screw is at 3/4, seems to do pretty good. The other suggestion I had been told was the top and bottom at 1/2 each, which is the Blue recommendation.
