id buy from jetmaniac any day of the week, i have bought parts from Epcot in the past .... since ive owned a SJ havent bought anything off him, id buy from jetmaniac because he has better prices and is very helpful, i will be buying the pump from jetmaniac hopefully before summer :bump:

I don't think it was whether or not that particular seller was trust worthy or not because he panned out to be. But, who would have known...? Were as us on the X are more or less a community, thats why i'd rather buy from the X. But, at the end of the day good deal. I got mine from thrust because they were the first that had it and at the time there were no other options.

TNT we need to ride together. I need to try out that ATP nozzle you've got! ;)

The stock pump stator has a real lip edge that measures around 157mm and the Solas 12-vane unit measures around 149mm which creates a sealing gap issue between the reduction nozzle & pump surface, so an aluminum spacer or o-ring is needed to eliminate this gap problem. You can purchase the aluminum spacers from Thrust or use a round buna-N O-Ring AS568A Dash Number 360 part number 9452k516.

I probably missed it somewhere but what is the absolute final price that these pumps would cost, orings, etc. everything...?

$475 Solas 12-Vane Mag.
$35 Bearing & Seal Kit.
$5 O-ring
or
$15 Aluminum Spacer.

$249 Skat-Trac Swirl C75 thin blade impeller.
or
$209 Solas Concord large hub YQ-CD-pitch impeller.

Around $725 to $775 plus labor and shipping cost.

I bought a package of 5 O-rings that will work instead of the spacer. If anyone needs one let me know and I will send you one. I have 4 left

That is a lot of PSI to not use the spacer. Look at the gap it is big. I think if you spend money for a better pump and then let it bleed out past o-rings or silicone you are not going to get the full gain of doing the better pump in the first place. IMO
