Call some of the dealers they will point you in the right direction. They do this more thatn the rest of us and can answer all your questions. EME uses a 145 ... and I think the argument could be made that they make the most power available in the industry with the polaris based 777 case . There are many ways to skin this cat with props , nozzles , intakes ......

For sure Sportfish, I wonder if you had a 148 and a smaller motor and you put a big cone and smaller reduction nozzle with a cut back prop if it would give the bottom end we want. So many fun experiments to do.

this is close to what I have,except Im using a larger reduction nozzle to hit hard off bottom. It really rips,so I think its all in how you prop it and bore the nozzle,that said im selling or trading the mag 148 13/18 setup I have now to try something for a totally diff purpose.
