Where are most of you staying for the free ride?
Which rooms are best?
Have never been to it but the wife and I are planning on attending this year.

The old Coral Beach is now called Atlantic Cove. Its gone through a pretty good renovation. Not as cheap as Makai and Driftwood....but its def the best of the 3 Cardinal drive zone hotels. Ive spent many MONTHS there. No issues with trailer parking. I'm kicking around taking a trip down in Oct, when are you going?

If you on a real tight budget, I stayed at the driftwood when I was house shopping this past March. Its come a long way from how it was when I stayed there in 2007. But still just ehhh. I would NOT stay at the Makai....

The makai was a poop hole when I stayed there in 2008 and they were charging $110 / night for the event. The coral was nic3 enough in 2011. May have those years off by a little. The grand seas is much nicer than both.

If you are not a partier or want to go to bed early, it's a good idea at any event, jet skis or otherwise, to stay off the 1st floor. If noise isn't an issue, then it doesn't matter. All the grand seas room face the ocean.

Grand Seas is close to sold out... the place next door (La Playa) was kind of rough but cheap/manageable (better than Makai/Drfitwood but not as good as the old Coral Beach)...
