Hey everyone.
a few of you who follow me on facebook may have seen this video already but I wanted to post it up here also.
I cut this footage from a few rides I had before the Daytona Freeride riding my Kommander built Trinity Matrix ES hull.

Hope you guys enjoy it!

Awesome video Mark, enjoyed watching you rip it up out there in Daytona!

I saw you slash some monster waves out there and ride away clean, I think most riders would have washed up 20 yards away trying those moves!

Thank you guys for the compliments really. The surf out there was a hair ball at times. but I had a lot of fun just keeping it pinned and seeing what it would do for me. I havent had this much fun riding surf in a while so thank you guys for all the stoke.

How you liking that hull?
I have been super quiet about my Matrix because at first it was great in certain areas but because of the way i set it up combined with the way the hull wanted to handle it actually wasnt what i was looking for. Granted i have ridden other matrix's since then that do handle a bit better in their own set up. So for the last few months i have been tweaking certain things every here and there to see if I could find some specs that would make the ski handle the way I wanted to. It wasnt going well until Scott Stevens built a pair of destroyer like tubbies to bolt onto the matix. This guy has been my savior in this whole project. I bolted these on with the measurements he provided and have yet to look back. I meant to take them off clean them up, paint match them and in stall them but i had too much fun filming and riding in the video above before it left for daytona. Over all I ride my ski like a race ski yet need the ski to be able to catch and hold a rail at a moments notice. I finally feel like i got my ski and my style back with the matrix now and can start to push above and beyond that. Bottom line is, im super happy but its still a work in progress. I hope in due time i can provide some specs and a ride report that will bring light to all the pros and cons so that people who are interested can see all of that and see if they can make it work for them like i have.

Thanks for the support again everyone, this years going to be a big one and a fast one.

Perfect glassy waves! I wish I had that surf. You are hands down the best surf rider. Props to you Mr. Gomez

Thank you very much guys, Im really humbled by the positive compliments. Chris! been meaning to follow up with you and your purchase. I will be sending these tubbies to bobby to get them finished and made into a solid mold to become a solid trinity accessory available to Matrix Customers including you. These will make the front of the ski seem more weighted in the water and be able to lay down a better and smoother rail. it does make the boat feel a little "squirly" but i prefer to constantly ride my ski on an edge. Its almost like a wake board, however these are a bolt on feature for those who want to try it on their hulls. I personally think this is the best thing that I have put on my ski.

It's coming together. I keep finding things I need to tweak or parts I need to make. Very happy with the hull and Bobby has been great to work with. I got the BOB adjustable footholds in which I hope will make a big difference. Working on the alinement of the motor and pump now. I'm making a new pole base bracket that the center line forward and a base with two breather holes that fit the Matrix better using the stock Super jet holes. I get the first one tomorrow to test fit. Shooting for mid to late February have it in the water.
