Blaster May have made a big mistake, help!!

Ok so the oil injection was for sure blocked off, the pump was replaced with a block off plate on the flywheel cover and the rest of the system was all looped off. Yeah the oil injection is a bit different on my wb2 than your wb1 there. Mine had way less outlets on the tank. And yes i'm getting 150psi in the front cylinder and 145psi in the back. I'm going to pull the motor and replace crank seals now and hope I don't run into any more problems. Still never figured out why it wouldn't start though, deal with that when I get it back together I guess.

you're more ambitious than me. if i was getting good compression readings that motor wouldn't leave the hull.

Only need compression fuel and ignition. You have compression and fuel (when you manually dump some down the carb), so that leaves the electrical system. No need to pull the motor

Well I figure it would be a good safety precaution to replace the crank seals after 10 gallons of straight gas run through it right? Well it runs fine when I manually dump fuel down the carbs and it is pulling gas out of the tank but it won't start. So idk.

You could always do a leakdown test too. Do you know if fuel is actually getting to the carbs? Oops never mind, just read your last post. Its gotta be in the carbs then, sounds like they are getting gas but just not delivering it.

If the B2 wont start on its own, but will when spraying carb cleaner down a carb, just add a primer kit to the carbs. Every B2 I have seen has needed to have a primer due to weak pulse signel to the fuelpumps upon start up, (or something to that nature) Even my B2.
If you drop your pop off pressure this should help with the fuel issue.

When you say it will start by pouring fuel in, will it continue to run then, or does it just burn that bit of fuel and die.
If it continues to run, then its not a blockage, as already said check pop off or one way tank valve.
If it won't run, when you stripped carb, did you find the small internal fuel filter? May also be worth checking the reeds.

The oil injection plate on the carbs is looped together with some tubing. When I pour some fuel down the carbs it just burns that off and dies. But I thought it may be the on/off valve and by passed that and used the line that had the inline fuel filter in it and it ran untill all the fuel out of the fuel filter burned up I assume, although it seemed like It was pulling fuel out of the fuel tank. Yes the small internal fuel filters were good, main and pilot jets, needle.

Just going on a whim. Are the fuel lines on the carb backwards? Ie. In on the out and out on the in

i thought of that too cause i have put them on backwards, but he said it was running for a few tanks of gas and then quit.

Always wondered how long a motor would go without oil, never thought it would have been that long..
make sure the return line isn't plugged . It needs to flow from the first carb through the second to the tank

it definitely sounds like a fuel issue. i wouldnt pull that motor for crank seals, at least not yet. figure out your issue first, then proceed if you want to.
btw, the 760's compression is about 5 psi different from front cylinder to rear cylinder

did you replace the diaphrams in the carbs? id check the reeds also. also make sure you got fresh plugs and good solid spark

i am a newbi but my blaster would lose prime after a few hours of running. found out it is pulse pump type carb. i rebiuld the carb and there was a tear in the diaphram that pumps the gas.

sorry been moving back off to school so this project is gonna have to wait till probably winter, x-mas break, thanks for everyone's help and i'll be back on here around that time asking more questions i'm sure, thanks again!!
