How do you keep your feet in the tray? Every time I do one of those 3 subs, my feet come out from the tray (I have 24-7 footholds)? Maybe I need to wear shoes?

What was the patented trick? Flip over the pole?

The patented trick I've only done like twice, the best attempt was last week and I almost got it 100% that time. I'll work on it more so I can name it.

I don't put my feet in the footholds, only my toes in the back of them. It's enough control to lift the back, but also loose enough so I can move around and stay on the ski.

On that river you prolly loose 1/2 of your set of wave by the time you get back to it because of the current huh..

Whats the average mph of that area of the river?

Yep, I really think the river is part of my inability to barrel roll properly. The current that day was minimal, probably not even 1 mph, other days it's 2-3 or higher.

jump sub with a 180 underwater, Sickerling had them mastered. He could also do a jump sub and come up laying backwards in the tray and on the gas.

LOL

Here is a picture of the same trick I was doing back in 1998. You basically jump on hood and ride nose down, as you sub it, you reposition feet on the back/angled part of the hood. I could hold it there at this angle until the boat completely filled with water.

We just called it the hood-sub.

No, I didn't describe the secret trick, and it's not on video either. I've never seen anyone do it and have only pulled it kinda close twice.
