X2, thats what I would do. Just save a few more $$ and get a true girdled head even if it is used it would be the best bang for your buck.

Just got my head back from Group K. I didn't bother measuring squish band. Mid summer it tested at 150-150...., just installed last night, 170-167. I'm pretty happy. Will use 91+ octane gas as recommended per Group K.

yes, ADA is supposed to be a great head.
I like the fact that used ones are worth about as much as new ones.
buy one, and its a good investment.

I'd buy a new ADA too. All said and done, you will have wasted 100 bucks polishing a turd (Stock head.) It's a good investment for the future, and with the stock milled head, you still run a risk of the cylinder cracking.
