I was very close to dropping the X2 into the lake yesterday. If I had the day off work I'd have taken it out to the hot spot.
I'd be up for a winter ride, though I'm not sure where. At this rate there should be tons of open water.

How far out does the ice free area go around the hot hole? I've never been out there in the winter, but I can't imagine it's possible to get there.
