does anyone know which mid shaft has "x" amount of setback?

im putting a couple hulls together and want to add extra motor mount holes to allow for different midshafts, which will set the motor back further in the hull.

I have a gp800 midshaft ive been using to base my measurements off, which is 30mm setback from oem SJ. Im wondering if there is another option out there that will set back a little further than 30mm.

I believe the yamaha raider 1100s are a litte bit shorter, but I believe it affects driveshaft length as well. Let me go out in the garage and take some measurements, all the stuff if exploded across the garage at the moment.

The 2 midshafts that I have that were sold to me as being waveraider 1100 midshafts measure 122mm overall, factory setback is ~12mm out the back as opposed to the 20mm out the back of a superjet shaft. While I believe the GP800 midshaft that you have is 127mm. The waveraider 1100 midshafts have the splines at the extreme front end just behind the coupler so you may have to swap driveshafts. When I tossed a raider 1100 midshaft on my superfreak last week the splines didn`t even engage and my WDK Rip that uses a superjet driveshaft with radier midshaft has a lot more driveshaft hanging out of the bulkhead. It would be easy enough to toss the raider 1100 midshaft in a lathe, cut the OD a bit and press the shaft maybe another inch back into the housing, I don`t think that would be enough to make a superjet length driveshaft work if the bulkhead was setup for a superjet drive and midshaft.

Makes sense, thanks for that info. The gp800 shaft has splines in the same spot as sj. Trying to keep this a simple swap without modding parts.

If i recall correctly, xft had a setback option as well. Not sure how much or with what midshaft tho...

Gp800 is probably the shortest midshaft, same length as gp1200/raider 1100. Other short ones with spline in rear are FX1 and GP760, but I think both are longer than gp800. We have all of them in stock, can measure and confirm tomorrow.
