Mikuni 47mm leaking

I was told this carb was a 47mm mikini and it was leaking gas out of this area. I took the plate off and to me it doesn't look like it's in horrible condition but I may be wrong. If someone could tell me if I need a new rubber piece and what it is called that would be great. Thanks

If it's leaking out of that weep hole then the diaphragm is comprised somewhere.
Hold it up to a bright light and check for pin holes.
That diaphragm is about $19

Diaphragm leaking for sure, i'd rebuild the whole carb since all related parts are likely the same age. It looks a bit salty around the edge too.

Is that a buckshot 47? Just curious, mikuni didn't make a 47mm to my knowledge.

I know it is a mikuni but it may be a 46mm. And I got another diaphragm, it is a little smaller hoping it would work and I put it in and now it only runs for a second from my primer

All the 44mm+ mikunis use the same parts. 38mm might use the same too.

The 38's also use mostly all of the same parts except for one of the square rubber diaphragms on the pump side. One part of it is just a hair different for the 38's.
