I have two small scratches. I completely forgot to take a picture of them tho.

Don't pay attention to the white chinpad, it will be painted to match.

rough list of things left to do:
Grind pole bushings down to fit.
check pump alignment
Buy motor mounts...I didnt realize Kavinci ones weren't being made anymore
Fit limitedslip tank
buy staps for tank/battery
drill holes for pissers and bilge
mount ebox
install new plug boots
Receive and install engine and tnt pipe
cut down pole
register ski

just wait theres more! Our new fancy pump nozzles are now "wear items" I have less than 100 hours on mine and it is wore the heck out. Totally sloppy and just a mess. Really bad design with dissimilar metals rubbing on eachother. Im not buying another one when I know ill have to replace it. I am looking into different pump options and possibly designing some bushings to go in between the stainless post where it contacts the trim ring and steering nozzle. My pole bracket is gone now so after the pump I literally have changed out everything from the starter kit
Really??? That's so disappointing to hear. I'm hoping you just got a lemon (sorry) because the starter packs gave me hope of one day affording an AM ski...

What pole bracket did you go with? I was going to use my ATP one, but its not the same size as the kavinci bracket. I couldnt make myself drill new wholes tonight.

Honestly you can't really be mad. The whole pump assembly is $1250 from Krash. Any other pump and tilt would be $3-$4k. You get what you pay for. You could buy 3 Krash pump assys for the price of one AM one. It all depends on what you are looking for.

But don't expect the world by paying for a town ya know?

And for what it's worth I bought the Stage 2 kit with the pump and everything. I'm willing to give the pump a try, why not for the price. I am already dissappointed in mine, but it is what it is.

Looking at my pictures, I remembered the off orange conical washers that were sent in the foothold brackets. I guess I am going to have to order more blowsion ones in blue to match.

That doesn't include setback driveshafts, tilt, midshaft, impeller, tilt lever and cable etc does it? And I thought you needed a core with some of JM's stuff.

It all adds up and the Krash setup is the best bang for the buck because it comes complete. But expect to have to do more work and replace stuff down the line. Cheap can only be so good. I'm not trying to sway anyone either way. Like I said, it is what it is and take all options into consideration.

I've seen and repaired several Thrust trims because it's an aluminum ring on a stainless bushing and I've repaired my own Protec aluminum nozzle several times as well for the same reason. Aluminum riding on stainless with sand as lubrication is a sure recipe for wear. The only not bad part is it's aluminum, so clean the hole up, weld in new material, and drill it out and it's good again.

@x2mafia
IMO most riders who go 100+ HRS in less than 6 months are not going to be buying a starter kit. I do feel from what I have read so far there does need to be QC adjustments made. Waiting time for AM hulls seems to be an industry wide problem. Damage to the hulls during or before shipping needs to be curved/stopped ASAP!! As far as longevity of the parts you are not going to pay less and get more. I would equate it like this from what you are saying... Its a Porsche of a hull with Mustang like components. You cant expect a starter kit in any form to go out and preform at high levels and hold up for long period's of time. I do look forward for your 6 months write up.

When the starter kit was advertised it didn't say "we've piled a bunch of cheap parts together so you don't have too" (mic drop)

But I'm super happy that all of you have settled on the fact that you went cheap so it's not gonna be as good as the best. I would have rather gone oem 144 than this thing. Review soon.

Back on topic sorry to derail! Love the colors on the 50 dude! Check your pump alignment before you slap her together and go have fun

Cheap vs. functional ? and at what level of performance ? I always laughed to myself when somebody with a Subaru BRZ would come to the track run 3 laps and have massive brake fading or over heating issues then get mad. Now if the parts are completely useless I would agree we have a big problem. When you pay thousands less what do you think a realistic expectation should be with the price you paid? Don't take this the wrong way. I like your input and appreciate it. I am just trying to gauge your reaction vs. your expectation. If a product is total junk we all need to know. If a product is not up to your expectation or performance level that's a different story.

i have a fix for this that requires no welding just drilling ,go to ace hardwear store by a plastic sleeve they sell in bolt section cut the length you need drill the nozzle hole to 1/2 same size as plastic sleave punch the sleave in with a hammer and cutt off or dremel smooth bolt back up ! then when it wears out punch new sleave in ! had it in for year now still not worn out yet
