we have a Predator X-18 that we use in the desert all the time. it handles the whoops real nice but because of the short length it will swap pretty bad if you arent careful. most of the parts are produced in china to keep the cost down (30k for a race ready car normally costing 80k+) so things like the shocks and steering give out quick, but all the aftermarket companys produce replacement parts of better quality.

My farther in law just got a Tom pro design turboed hyayabusa. I haven't been in it yet but hopefully soon. I think it will easily keep up with the big boys.

No Im not getting one just seeing if anyone has them my father in law has one and his brother has a full size long travel ls1. It works out great I have the skis and they have the sand toys.

Google short sand cars. There is a guy in Utah that builds them with turbo busa motors. Pretty cool but pretty spendy.
