Mini toy hauler

I have seen all the builds on converting an enclosed trailer into a camper/ ski hauler and i was thinking about going that route then i found this.. its a mini toy hauler. 5.5 ft wide by 8.5 ft long. i just picked it up and have some work to do but i think its gonna be great for the ski. First job is to hinge the bed at the head so the ski will sit on the floor when traveling.. I was debating just putting the ski on top of the bed and foam mattress under when hauling but i think hinge is the way to go.. I also would like to add solar to a battery to power the light and maybe radio or phone charger type thing.

I upgraded the wheels because i cant leave anything alone and they look cool

I like the hell out of it. It's simple, compact and efficient. Ur not going on safari and need to pack the house. It's meant to provide secure transport and temporary shelter, at night or during weather, while u enjoy the outdoors. Perfect IMO. U mind posting a price?

Thanks @Pablo , that was my thoughts also. I dont have tons of storage space or the budget for a large camper and also there isnt really a need for it for me right now... it was $3700 plus the wheels Canadian... so thats like $2900 usd lol

That's fairly reasonable considering the quality of the finish. Could easily spend that much on some new trailers without all the diamond plate etc.

I think the house thing happens for a lot of people who have kids. I used to have a 8x18 box trailer we hauled 4 atv and the riding gear we needed, slept on the floor, no lights or heat, it was great.

Sold the atvs to buy a 21ft toy hauler that is fully self contained, carrying a pack-n-play crib, a case of diapers, a bunch of who knows what. I brought like 4 pairs of underwear and an Xbox, nothing else for myself. I'm just thrilled I haven't been sitting around playing that Xbox, not once. I'll take what I can get in camping with an infant in tow.

Lots of guys are like, "my wife won't go camping". So i brought the house. She can't tell me no. Have to be careful though, that same philosophy is how I ended up with the baby.

That's a great find Marc. If I didn't have mine, I'd be looking at one for sure, especially at that price.
