I know this may not be the holy grail but dang this thing is nice. Original graphics and 100% stock. Not a scratch on it. Supposed to go see it today. What's this thing worth?

Prices have sky rocketed on these. I have $600 in mine and could easily sell for $1500. The Facebook 550 jet ski page has soared prices through the roof. People are paying $150 for water boxes for Christ sake

It really depends on your local market. Prices have increased in the last couple years for sure though.

If you do ending up getting this do yourself a favor and buy at least one wreck and strip it for parts. I used to snap up old X2's and SX650's for a couple of hundred bucks each 10 years ago and my parts stash is the only thing keeping us on the water these days without paying through the nose for hard to get parts.

Good point and idea. My buddy's sx650 is always down. I can find these things forsale daily. Wouldn't be a bad idea to buy up a few for parts. There was a running one for $300 the other day here.

Ski turned out to be very nice. Still working on a deal. He also has a 2008 sxr that hasnt been in the water in 5 years and has some fading on the hood. Any idea of values on it?

That one looks good from here. I have a 92 550sx that is probably a bit cleaner. It's a blast in full stock trim. I dig the graphics.

Did you end up working something out to bring either one home?
