Mobile Device Security Apps

Howdy folks, I recently saw some disturbing info from the Chinanada Communist Plague regarding tracking everyone's mobile devices...not at all for malicious intent  ...and it made me really start to think about security options for the mobile life. The best security obviously is just ditch the junk which I am now also considering. But while I am using it, I thought why not post some suggestions on security apps. If you have any suggestions please feel free to post them. I have android junk, not interested in ipad or iphone for me personally but if you think it's worth mentioning for those that use it then by all means offer your thoughts.

For Android, so far what I have found that I think is pretty decent is...
-Antispy detector free to scan your devices for spyware
-Roboshadow which scans for unsecured open ports and device scanning
-Proton VPN but you need to make a protonmail account
-and last night I looked at Teleguard which does all messaging, calls video stuff through heavily encrypted swiss based servers
I haven't used Teleguard yet, I still want to learn more about it first, and I have a few other apps that I prefer because under the more info section they don't use any special permissions. To me that's a big deal, there's no reason why say a calculator should need access to phone dialer or things irrelevant to a calculator. I try to avoid any software that I can't in common sense see why it needs access to things irrelevant to it's purpose. Too many people don't look into those details and just give these data collectors everything about their personal life and privacy. Any suggestions on things like device to device secure messegngers, or email, anything that you can think of for extra security measures for everyone post it up.

No need to include apple products since they actually vet out their apps and protect their customers by not allowing rubbish on their devices in the first place.

I ditched android after reading an article on how 9 out of 10 of the top flashlight apps were sending your data back to china. And why does a flashlight app need any of my info besides an on/off button?

I have a premium license for Avast for my home PC’s and it includes a mobile version. I tried it for a short time but I’ve been using corporate devices for the past 8 years that install management software that takes care of everything for me.

The current software is Intune and I really haven’t looked into how much or how little protection it offers, if any at all.

I saw this suggested a good while ago, seems interesting....

VPNs won't do anything. Apps are constatnly sending data like GPS ping location etc. Lookup dragnet surveillance. They can track you by leaving your wifi on, if you walk by a wifi signal and the phone sees it, it sends a ping to that wifi hub or router which can be traced. They can literally follow you walking around the block just by wifi pings alone. The same can be said about cell tower pings. They know how far away a cellular ping is by the latency time of the response ping and the direction it was sent out. It's a lot of bs that they go to such efforts to track people when they could be using that effort to making the governments work better be held accountable for the atrocities they commit. This big brother gov needs to remember without tax payers there is no gov. Throw us all in jail, see how long that'll last before total chaos ensues lol.

I think the best way to prevent phone tracking is by using a VPN, which can hide your location, block ad tracking and encrypt all your data. Also, because Facebook is looking to build an interconnected digital world, I’m sure they have access too all our data, which is scary. That’s why I’m using a facebook proxy that works for protecting users from malicious activity. I don’t like when all my apps are interconnected, but this is the world we live in. Technology is reaching peaks that I couldn’t have imagined in the past, so I choose to stay safe online.
And I think the best way to weed out people infiltrating a jetski forum solely to push their propaganda and/or products is to close their accounts.
