Mock Jetski on Trampoline for training

I feel like someone is gonna end up being really good at some weird trampoline jumping and not improve their jet ski freestyle ability..at all.

(Edit..well damnit, my post is opposite of the above. But I meant using some weird homemade jet ski that wont kill ya when it falls on you)

How big of a trampoline do you have? I am going to bury a 19' this spring to 6inch above ground level. If you come up with any good ideas. I'll try it. Why not an empty hull with a helmet on?

I think I'm picking up a 14' trampoline with sides tomorrow for $75 bucks. This whole thing might be a pipe dream, but I've been thinking of a good off season training mechanism for years now. And trampolines are way more fun than traditional working out.

If it's been said before I'm sorry for not reading this thread lol. Over a decade ago We had a "tramp bike" which was a 20" bmx that started with no cranks and eventually progressed to a legit bike minus wheels. Helped us learn tailwhips, supermans, tons of variations etc. one of the kids in our group even Front flipped the thing. It helped us progress. i don't know what your gonna do with a jetski. The water doesn't hurt so you might as well learn on the water lol. A trampoline still hurts when you land on your head.

I'm with the one guy who said use a pogo stick..I wouldn't try to jump on the pogo and then try to jump on the trampoline.I would just hold it or even try to put ur feet on the pegs and then take them off before u land cuz when u rotate and the pogo hits u in the face it would be like the handle pole hitting u .so u would have to work on that even more .it's crazy to think of doing this instead of trying in the water but I feel ya .around here it has been in the upper 50/65 and the water is to cold to ride .

Ok u got my brain thinking one last post before I go to bed .I just got off night shift ...go pop some tags at the thrift store buy a pogo stick for the handle pole and a set of water skis For the jetski .tie the pogo on the front of the skis and you're golden..goodnight

Update: just bought this 14' trampoline on Craigslist on Saturday for $75. Loving it so far. It's funny, but I've probably done over 1000 jetski backflips, but before I got this trampoline, I did 5 or fewer trampoline backflips.
Towards the end of the day, I wanted to grab my wakeboard handle, but we had a noodle laying around so I grabbed that to simulate handlebars instead. I had a blast with it and you can see I got a bit goofy.
I get everyone here saying... "just do it on the water" Duh. That's the goal, but a trampoline is fun, doesn't cost $7 a gallon, is better for my engine to use when water temps are in the 40s°, helps my endurance, strengthens my leg and knee muscles, and fun. Yes, I said fun twice.

This is just the beginning.

I on the other hand can not backflip on a trampoline for the life of me but can backflip a ski.
