Here's what I do:

1. Tank out.
2. Put the chamber with coupler on it in place.
3. Put stinger into waterbox hose.
4. Get headpipe into the coupler as you push the waterbox end towards the headpipe.
5. Bolt headpipe down.
6. Snug up the hoseclamp on the headpipe side.

x2 works like a charm and can swap chambers in 10 flat. (granted internal fuel fill makes it MUCH easier imo).

If you're really struggling with getting the chamber into the coupler do it backwards. Put the coupler on the chamber and then slip the head pipe into the coupler and attach it to the manifold. The head pipe has a smaller lip than the chamber.

I'm gonna put my $.02 in too, although slightly off topic...

Don't let that pipe continue to rub on the ribs of the hull without padding it or grinding the ribs down, or you'll put a hole in the pipe in a short period. I just took my pipes out of my RNs for a lookover and found nice wear areas on the backside of the pipe. Had I left them in a season or two more, I would have had holes. I have now ground the ribs, and also glued turf to the wall where the pipe is to protect it. They're safe from harm now.:bigok:

I have the limited chamber.
I take out the gas tank, loosen the waterbox, remove the water separator, and use Windex on the mating surfaces.
I bolt up the headpipe, put the coupler on it and insert the first edge of the chamber in to the coupler at about 7-8 O'clock, then push the chamber down with one hand, in toward the headpipe with the other.
It took me about 20 minutes of fighting this time, but once it hits the sweet spot it just slides right in.

Dem things sure are tight though - somebody needs to think of a better coupler.
Maybe something like the hinged metal ring and O-Ring on a pool filter?

+ u must add some plastic rubber spacers to the chamber in order not to touch and burn the hull and the bedplate
i prefer b pipe from the classic riva red pipe
