Super Jet Modding my superjet

Hello guys , as you can see this is my first post here , my buddy has recently bought a 2012 Yamaha Superjet and he's almost done with his 10 hour break in , I ride his Super Jet a lot and I am planning to buy one myself. We have ridden other Super Jet's that are slightly modded, ok let me stop talking , i would like to start modding:sneaky: , as you all know the superjet steering drops when you stand up on the superjet but i have rode one where the steering stay's where you put it , you know what i mean ? ok so anyways im a big fan of ATV's and I've had a lot of experience , when we modd our bikes we have to tune them by rejecting but that was cause we were on different elevations , how about the superjet ? were all on sea level ( not the sweet water riders) so if i install an exhaust for an example , the factory b-pipe exhaust , do i have to rejet ? Thank you all for helping and sorry for asking a lot of questions ,
Thanks a lot,
Kayno100

Yes, any mods like that which you plan to do you will have to rejet, no matter what the elevation is.
If you list out your mods, most guys here are willing to lend a hand with jetting.

As for the pole, Not sure if you are talking about a Fix Steer(no pole anymore, special different hood), or if you mean the pole is there, but it feels "very light".
If it is the very light, then it is an aftermarket pole spring.

Yes i mean it is very light , it feels more like a hydraulic pole , if it is the spring may you please post a link here on where to buy one , and do i need anything else to install in order to install the spring or can i install the spring without anything else , thanks again
