Custom/Hybrid modern day square

heres me build, not finished yet but getting there slowly..... hull was a freebie and so far cost me about 300 in glass,resin and misc. Ive made the tray wide and recessed where the foot holds will go... More nose rocker and reshaped nose... hood has got a new liner and also been lowered and reshaped....2.5 inch off the rear angled cut...footholds have been shaped but not glassed yet, the photo shows the rough position.

thanks for the comments guys, ill keep ya's updated as things change will be a long build though, taking me time as not to rush things.

On another note my mate just got back from new york and had nothing but nice things to say about his trip... he recon's one day he'll live there, all the people he came in contact with were awesome. Maybe a trip is on the cards for me when my degree is finished...

I like the foot hold. Look at the BOB hold so you get an idea of what they are doing. Yours look very similar. I love the big tray.

Waite, stop that thought. NY what! Stay in Australia unless you like being taxed out the A#% and cold weather. I would die to move to Australia but the wifey wont go.

Ive stood in the tray on the grass and it feels so right, cant wait to ride it!! Yeah the bob holds are great ! ive made mine similar but im not gunna make them adjustable, thought about it but nah simpler and stronger this way.

haha taxes here aint real flash either, home loans rates are around 7 - 8 percent here and minimum house price where i live is 400 thousand and thats nothing flash ... I wouldnt live in ny, just visit .. i was thinking florida somewhere would be great place to live...Your right it is warm here, but it also depends where you live, it doesnt get below 15 degrees celcius where i live which is 59 in your scale.

well kinda old now but decided to continue on with my project and finish it before our summer ends. Paint work is not how i wanted it but i can live with it for the time being, just wanna get the thing in the water.P4040055.jpg

I'm thinking waffle lime green turf.. Wot do you guys reckon? There is also more decals to come, I have got 'monster energy' decals on order. Should I chuck my tubbie2 on this ski or order some destroyers , is there much difference?

I'm also going to make the tray walls a bit more forgiving as they are Thin and could do some damage when falling off. I'm thinking some sort of a pillow top with either foam or padding .

yeah that souds like a good idea, mine r pretty thin to but has a nice flat are round 2" wide im going to add some plush foam, This is where im at on my nose still need to work on the new bondline its crooked, but im likeing the overall shape.

Lookin good! Yeah take your time get everything as straight as you can, saves headaches later on
