Modified SBN 46mm

I already have a jetted sbn 44mm on my sj 701, somebody offered me a sbn 46mm with base bored out to 48mm, its bombsight was replaced with a rail atomizer.
Is it worth the swap? Also the 46mm owner told me that all I have to do is swap my 44mm jets on his carb and with a minor tuning his carb will work with my setup, is that true? Thanks

A 44 works great for a SJ. I only see going to this custom creation is only going to gain you a migraine.

With that said if the guy is a local riding buddy and he truly believe in it he will let you install it on your ski and let you ride with it to see if it has any gains, otherwise my vote is to stay away. far far away.
