Other Modifying Rickter ADJ footholds?

Ok.............. *deep breath*

I have been told there is a thread or a post where a member modified RRP holds so they allowed for more width in the tray.

Instead of explaining, I took pitchers...

We'll call the part that goes over your foot the "Wing" and the arm that mounts to the hull the... well... "mount"

I want to move the mount farther in on the wing so that the assembly does not chew up so much tray width. It would appear that the 'mount' is made from glass, but i'm not sure I want to re-manufacture it. It looks like its glued and bolted to the 'wing'.

Had anyone ever attempted this or remember who attempted this? I'm not against leaving it the way it is, but if there is some sort of "how to" on fixing it, I'm game.

That's pretty cool, seems like the lack of 'wrap around' would be less desirable. But you seem to like them... So cool!

What size angle did you use?

2x3 aluminum angle, I love em Specially for Surfriding because you have to move your foot around so much

So with the nutserts, I assume the held up/in just fine? Didn't pull out or wiggle? (Sounds kinda dirty...)

Same problem i'm having here - don't find stainless nuts!
