Surfriding Monster Hole Ride Invite. Saturday 10/19/13

Freakrider, Reed, my father, and I will be going to Sebastian Inlet this weekend (saturday am/pm) for anyone else who is interested or in the area. Waves are forecasted at 2-3 ft and clean, which usually means bigger for Monster Hole. Nothing special, but it should be a good time as practice for Daytona kicks off.

Yessir, down in grant. Property owner gave us permission, and the code to the gate. We are free to ride as we please. So far, no gators, or even fish for that matter. Lake is clean, usually calm, not big enough to get real rough. We set up a buoy course, but have lost a few buoys to some other people that go out there to shoot. They don't hold up to well to fire arms.

I used to surf Monster hole , it can go off but watch for sharks , had a friend get nailed there when we were windsurfing it years ago and it's almost bait run time of year !

Ya, we ride out there for work all the time. There is always something swimming around out there.

Sebby was going off this morning with overhead clean sets ! Big Congrats to Reed of Plant City for his first backfip today and then progressing to riding out two flips on a RN with a XS 771. James Ross was going big also with one hander rolls and nice spins. Video to follow soon of this great ride day.

Monster hole forecast was 1-3 feet and the morning session was a solid 7 foot clean long line swell, Sebby is amazing for bumping up swell !

haha yeah those are blurry cell phone pics from my basic phone. I got all the video footage uploaded onto my mac. Gonna see if I can make a quality video out of it. Waves were big and of course messy in the afternoon

Damn, I wish i would have seen this post sooner. I try to ride Sebastian every weekend but its hard finding people to ride with. Surf forecast have been trash recently so i havent been down. If you go again PM me. I'm always down.

I think there should or could be a separate wave height forecast for monster hole because how does 1 to 3 feet forecast become solid 7 feet sets every 5-10 minutes in the morning session. I was simply amazed at the morning surf there with very little wind, it was like the swell arrived before the strong winds later. Also let us know if your wanting to go when you see a good forecast.
